This is one of my favourite series. I absolutely LOVE it!

With every episode, more and more questions pop into your mind... and your hamster is doing overtime trying to figure it out.
It also prickles your imagination, with a twist on our version of once upon a time in fairy tale land.

Here are some facts you might find interesting:

• At the War council meeting, Granny knitted Emma's blanket, the white and purple one.
• The Wardrobe in which Emma was placed, is a nod to Narnia.
• The flowers in Snow's hair are the same type of flowers she puts by David's bedside on her hospital rounds.
• Granny's Diner has forest wallpaper.
• The star candle Emma uses on her birthday is a reference to the song "When you wish upon a star" in Disney's Pinocchio.
• Disney owns the network and produces the show.
• The Valentine's Day card that David was going to give to Mary Margerat had a prince, princess and castle on it.
• The Magic Genie says he is from Agrabah, which is the home of Aladdin and Jasmine, in the Disney film.
• The wolf hanging in Ruby's car is a hint of her fairy tale character - Red Riding Hood
• When Snow is in Jail, she meets Grumpy, the dwarf. He whistles a part from "Heigh-Ho", which is snow white and the 7 Dwarves Disney song.

• Names for characters in Storybrooke have a connotation to their fairy tale names:
• Mary Margaret Blanchard (Snow White)
• French word "blanchie" - means white
• Regina (Evil Queen/Witch)
• In Latin means "Queen"
• Mr. Gold (Rumpelstilskin)
• Rumpelstilskin spun gold
• Sydney Glass (Mirror)
• Another word for mirror is glass.
• In his fairy tale life, he was the evil queen's mirror
• His newspaper is called "The Mirror"
• Archie Hopper (Jiminy Cricket)
• Crickets hop - Hopper
